Lauryn’s Sunflowers by Lauryn Gregg

I drew sunflowers, inspired by Van Gogh, to reflect our growth in confidence, despite the uncertainties in medicine. Details in the vase are an ode to different aspects of our elective. The top row shows Dr Cindy Chew holding all 13 medical students’ hands during the four weeks. The second and fourth rows allude to our statistic focused weeks. Whilst the third and fifth rows represent our drama focused weeks: Brazilian flags for Professor Marcia Strazzacappa, and Tai Chi for Professor Anna Furse.
